Wave Shade at St John’s Oxford
B-Line/Book has now added a Wave shade option to its features. Designed to significantly reduce light glare, the Wave shade option has greater width than the standard B-Line but still presents a slim profile.

Wave is being evaluated for use in the Old Library (built in 1598) at St John’s College Oxford.

Weston Library Oxford Opens With B-Line/Wave
This refurbished and renamed Grade II Listed Oxford landmark (formerly The New Bodleian Library) marks the first installation of B-Line/Wave. Specified by Wilkinson Eyre Architects.

B-Line/Wave’s desk lights provide excellent coverage and glare-free illumination using an inverted V-shaped shade. A rich bronze finish compliments the tone set by the furniture made of European Oak.

Weston Library also chose B-Line bookshelf lighting. B-Line’s purposeful design and 121 lumens/watt LEDs discreetly and efficiently light the 2.5 Metre height shelving.
